eBusiness Systems is a leading IT solutions provider in Malta, offering technology-driven services to businesses across various industries. We are looking for a Junior IT Support Technician to join our growing team and assist in delivering top IT support to our clients.

Job Overview

As a Junior IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to clients, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations within both internal and client environments. You will work in a hybrid setup, based at our offices in Pieta’ this will be combined with remote working and occasional on-site visits to client locations to deliver hands-on technical assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providefirst-level support to clients via phone, email, and onsite visits.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoothardware, software, and network 
  • Assist insystem setups, configurations, and maintenance.
  • Log and track support tickets using ahelpdesk/ticketing system.
  • Hand over unresolved issues to senior IT staff when required.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support requests, solutions, and technical procedures.
  • Supportclient IT operations by ensuring smooth running of systems and infrastructure.
  • Assist inbasic cybersecurity and IT compliance 
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment includingPCs, printers, and peripherals.
  • Performbasic server administration under guidance.

Requirements

  • 0 – 2 years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).
  • Basic knowledge ofWindows OS, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding ofMicrosoft Office 365 and general software support.
  • Familiarity withticketing/helpdesk systems.
  • Ability towork independently and provide support at client sites.
  • Strongproblem-solving and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English(Maltese is a plus).
  • A validdriver’s licence is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certifications such asCompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Applicants should already be resident in Malta.
