Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Yii2 framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services into existing systems.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks relevant to PHP development.
• Ensure the security and integrity of the applications being developed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Diploma or an equivalent certification in Software Development or a similar field.
• Proficiency in the Yii2 framework or similar PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Experience with front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React, is a plus.
• Proficiency in MySQL or other relational databases, including query optimisation.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Experience in working with RESTful APIs and integrating external services.
• Solid understanding of web application security and performance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
