003 – Review and Recommendations

This report provides a review of client’s portfolio performance over the past quarter. In addition to providing data related to the past quarter, the data can be setup to display recommendations that the system owner would like to make in relation to the client. It is important to point out that although we call this a report it’s actually a process that finally leads to the report output, this is the reason why we have also located access to the report in the operations section.

List Report References

Part of report 3 is the written material that can be added by the system users to the report. Areas such as “Report references” can be added before the client reports are prepared. To alter/add a report reference, navigate to report 3 and on the top right hand menu, click on the button “List Report reference”. Here a user can add/alter any references. These can then be added in the main report 3 section. This is done by clicking on the report reference input box found on report 3, use the ref name to select the reference needed.

Recommended Asset Class

Another key bit of data, that is needed prior to report 3 being ready for use, is the creation of the recommended asset class. A user need to first create the recommended before they can be automatically loaded by the system.
Once the “List recommended asset classes” is clicked a list of current recommendations is shown. Data such as the quarter/year currency and risk category allow the user to find, review and when needed amend recommendations already created.

Fee Review Declarations

Another key bit of data that is needed prior to report 3 being ready for use is the creation of the review declaration. This section allows users to create a single declaration that can be used for all clients, or a specific declaration used ad-hoc.
Once the “List Fee Review Declaration” is clicked a list of current declarations is shown. Data such as the name percentage given and the description that will be shown on screen allow the user to find, review and when needed amend declarations already created.

Importantly to speed up this report each night all calculations are carried out, therefore should critical data be altered the Administrator needs to reset the Peak values or else the report is extracted the next day. This report can be exported in PDF, Excel or CSV format.

List Standard deviation and Peak to Valley

The standard deviation and peak needs to be set prior to the report being run. This will allow the system to benchmark prior to the report being run.
